Chef Celeste is a globe-trotting culinary artist, armed with a diverse repertoire of recipes to infuse every occasion with a touch of enchantment. Her expertise lies in harmonizing techniques and flavours from one region of the world with the seasonal local ingredients of another, which creates a distinctive fusion.

Having studied both culinary and pastry arts at Utah Valley University in the USA. She started her career in America working for Viet Pham, the James Beard Award semi-finalist and Food Network star. She then honed her skills in fine dining at the Michelin-starred establishments Attica and Vue de Monde in Melbourne, Austraila. Her culinary exploration took her through Vietnam, Japan, and Thailand, where she learned from esteemed masters. In New Zealand, she mastered the art of wood-fired cooking.

After years abroad, Celeste returned to California and immersed herself in the world of vegan and gluten-free cuisine during the food truck boom. She also gained valuable experience at Gordon Ramsay’s Boxwood. Later, she left the states again and explored the vibrant flavours of Moroccan and Middle Eastern cuisine alongside culinary luminaries like Yotam Ottolenghi.

Celeste began her career as a freelance chef hosting pop-up restaurants with her first business Wandering Supper Club, and later co-founded Spoon & Scallop in 2018 with her husband Dave, who complements her culinary expertise with his warm Irish hospitality. Their venture expanded to include a health food line, A Good Mood Food. Beyond their own ventures, Celeste lends her expertise as a consultant, helping other food businesses thrive.
