2. Discovery Call

Once we receive your inquiry, we’ll schedule a phone consultation to discuss:

  • Your vision & occasion including date, time & location (Travel fees apply beyond 30 min from Kinsale)

  • Guest count & dietary needs

  • Preferred package or custom experience

  • Venue setup & logistics (Events over 25 guests require a site visit)

  • Multi-day events available (overnight fees may apply)

For weddings & large events (25+ guests), a €500 non-refundable retainer secures a site visit before menu planning begins.

3. Curating Your Menu

  1. Chef Celeste designs a personalized menu based on your preferences (or select our Thoughtful Table seasonal menu). You’ll receive three menu options within 10 days, with 7 days to choose. Late changes may incur fees.

4. Securing Your Date

Once your menu is set, we issue a 50% deposit invoice (payable via bank transfer or Stripe, 3.5% fee). Your event is confirmed upon payment.

5. Getting Ready for Your Event

As your event approaches, we handle all final details, from collecting the food and other shopping to rentals and logistics.

Your final invoice will arrive before your event.

For parties smaller than 25 people final payment is due on the night of your event unless otherwise arranged.

For larger parties (including all weddings) your final payment is due 14 days before your event.

6. Event Day Preparation

Before we arrive, please ensure:

  • Kitchen is clean & countertops clear

  • Dishwasher & sink empty

  • Bins & recycling emptied

  • Additional dishware set out

We arrive 1 hour 15 minutes before service unless otherwise agreed.

7. The Event Experience

Depending on the package you picked, this is what you can expect on the night.

The Thoughtful Table (Family-Style, Minimal Staff)

  • You set the table

  • A designated person assists with service

  • We prepare, serve, and leave you to enjoy the evening at your own pace

Savour & Celebrate (Full-Service, Elegant Dining)

  • We handle table setting with custom menus, napkins, and candles

  • Our team serves, clears, and cleans up

  • You relax and enjoy a restaurant-quality experience at home

The Gilded Gathering (Luxury Events & Weddings)

  • We oversee logistics, including rentals, vendors, and full setup

  • We create a stunning tablescape with linens, dishware, flowers, and candles

  • Our team provides full-service execution, from drinks to dining to seamless cleanup

For custom events, we’ll collaborate throughout the process to perfect every detail and you’ll know exactly what to expect from your event with us.

8. Final Payment & Farewell

For parties smaller than 25 people your final payment in now due, unless otherwise arranged.

After the work is over is always the hardest part, we have to say good bye. But in the end our goal is to leave your kitchen sparkling, glasses full, and hearts (and stomachs) happy.
